We are very proud to announce the recent and long awaited move of our operations from Providence to the important and historic site of La Plaine St André.
La Plaine St André offers Takamaka Bay, our customers and the Seychelles Heritage Foundation a real opportunity to further celebrate our products, our passions and our history. Encompassing our ever growing and increasingly successful business, La Plaine St André will not only be home to our head office, production and distribution facilities, but also will host:
The main house; incorporating a stylish rum/cocktail bar, quality superior restaurant, modern conference facilities and local artists’ gallery.
A fully operational artisan distillery and tasting museum.
A traditionally housed boutique, offering a selection of our own products and fine Seychellois goods.
Beautiful landscaped grounds including botanical, medicinal and herb gardens as well as historic ruins
La Plaine St André has added a new dimension to Takamaka Bay and we look forward to extending a warm welcome to all when you come and visit us.
Our new Aged Rum
To celebrate the move to La Plaine St André, Takamaka Bay will be launching its latest premium product “St André Aged Rhum”. This is a superior quality product using a blend of our finest aged rums and will be available at our La Plaine St André boutique, in duty free and at a selection of stores around the islands.
Festival Kreol
This year we successfully celebrated the 29th annual Festival Kreole by supporting the Fon Lanmal and Nwadkoko fashion shows, showcasing the young fashion designers of the Seychelles. We were also involved in the Bazar Kreol in Victoria with a Takamaka Bay stand, and had a cocktail stand at the Dimans Kreol Borlanmer at Anse Royale.
Giving Back
This year we are delighted to have donated in excess of SR 60,000 to the Seychelles Round Table as part of Regatta 2009 and for the rejuvenation of youth sporting facilities.
In addition, we are donating proceeds from sales at Festival Kreol to ensure the future success of this event.
This year we are delighted to assist the Drug and Alcohol council of Seychelles with a donation of SR 15,000 for their ongoing valuable work.
